What is a Holistic Nutritionist?
As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist I work with you to help you achieve your personal nutrition goals. Let's break it down further though as that description is vague and the implication is that the work I do is only focused on people who do not eat well and/or are over weight. While I am absolutely equipped to help with weight loss and to improve eating habits, there are so many other ways I am able to assist in your creation of an optimal wellness plan.
Almost everyone who presents to our office has an understanding and respect for the way their body can work for them to heal itself and keep itself not only working well, but working optimally. In order to do that we have to ensure that we FUEL our bodies with the best possible nutrients.
This is where I come in!
Often we have patients come into the office for chiropractic adjustments for bodies that are with and without aches and pains. Some patients come in to have Registered Massage Therapy to treat a sports injury while others come in for Traditional Chinese Medicine to alleviate swelling and inflammation. Many come in to learn more about how Naturopathic medicine can be effective managing symptoms associated with various ailments. I am excited to tell you that I work well with all of these practitioners to ensure that their treatment techniques are most likely to be effective.
It is my role, as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, to collaborate with you to come up with a plan to move your wellness goals forward. Whether you are already at your ideal body weight but want to improve muscle mass while training for a specific event or goal or you have dietary concerns and intolerances that make shopping a challenge; I am here for you.
I want to see you succeed and I am so committed to it that I not only meet with you in person, for that face-to-face conversation and accountability, but I also communicate with you daily via email and text message to provide you with recipes, ideas, and answers to questions about choices you are making.
