Dr. Lesley D'Souza, ND

I began my studies at the University of Toronto, obtaining a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology with a minor in psychology. I then received my Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine in 2010 at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario which is an accredited four-year, intensive post-graduate naturopathic medical program. As part of my studies, I completed a twelve-month internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and I am now a proud member of the College of Naturopaths Ontario.

Going beyond the curriculum, I advanced my education in Traditional Chinese Medicine with an externship at The National Hospital for Traditional Medicine in Hanoi, Vietnam. I also spent four weeks travelling in India as a volunteer with the organization, Child Family Health International to learn and provide basic health care in local villages.

Recognizing the uniqueness of every individual, I focus on a personalized approach to healthcare. Using a combination of modalities including acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, lifestyle counselling and homeopathy, I help guide my patients to achieving a balanced lifestyle and long-term wellness.

I have a special interest in women’s health concerns including fertility and pregnancy support as well as paediatric health. I strive to expand my knowledge in these areas by keeping up to date with the latest research and continue my education through seminars, conferences and certifications. I am also trained to prescribe bio-identical hormone therapy as treatment options for hormone imbalances such a menopause.
