PREGNANCY FROM A TO Z
Dr. Margot Lattanzi, ND is the primary host of these monthly seminars. She has had the opportunity to also have the support from the Burlington Area Midwives wanting to join her in presenting this educational and inspirational information as well as a local childbirth educator. This well-rounded team has a wealth of information as well as hands-on experience to share.
PART 1: PREGNANCY PREP 101
Preconception care is not just about getting pregnant! Part 1 of this series covers everything both partners need to know for a smart start to pregnancy. Included in the conversation is information about cycle tracking, nutrition, when & what to supplement and lifestyle changes to consider for a healthier baby.
PART 2: OPTIMIZE EACH TRIMESTER
Positive pregnancy test? Now what? This seminar will cover what both expectant parents can anticipate during each trimester, how to conquer any symptoms that may arise & how to best support baby's growth in utero.
PART 3: HANDS UP FOR A SMOOTH DELIVERY
In Part 3 of this series we will discuss how to prepare for labour & delivery, including herbal & acupuncture support, physical changes & how your team can help you, how to know what is important to you so you can create a birth "wish list" & important post partum support.
PART 4: ENHANCE FERTILITY OUTCOMES
There is a number of things that need to happen for a pregnancy to come to full term. This seminar covers a variety of ways to optimize fertility including proper assessment of both male & female prospective parents, benefits of acupuncture & how to get the
most out of IVF treatments.
