Dr. Teri Hayward, DC
Finding the root of a problem makes sense to me- which is why I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to serve as a chiropractor for over 15 years now.
My professional education began within the Kinesiology Program at McMaster followed by a move to Toronto to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. I have written the Chiropractic Board exams to qualify in both Ontario, Canada and England. Further education through the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre (VCLC) has provided me with the techniques and knowledge to become a Certified Animal Chiropractor through the College of Animal Chiropractors (CoAC).
I am proud to be a part of a profession that can naturally help support both humans and animals to properly process the stress created within our society, today.
My career has allowed me to travel and experience working in another country, teach hands-on bio-mechanics to other practitioners within an orthotic lab and this has also enabled me to pursue a passion of mine, working with animals.
The professionals at Think Chiropractic and Wellness have provided me the opportunity to utilize all my experience and skills - under one roof. It is a privilege to play a role on a team whose aim is to unite natural based healing arts. My position is to advance the WELLness movement in health care through chiropractic with passionate, preventative education about the role of spinal health and excellent nervous system function for the ENTIRE family.
A perfect day for me would be spent with family and friends enjoying good food, dancing, sharing laughter, some exercise and reading a fiction novel.
Please stop by or call and introduce yourself. Do you see a chiropractor- for good health? Ask me how animal chiropractic is an ideal complement to veterinary care or let's discuss potential speaking engagements to educate others.
